IKEA’s ‘U Up?’ campaign took a playful approach to connect with night owls and insomniacs by sliding into their Instagram DMs between 10 pm and 5 am.

Anyone who replied to IKEA’s cheeky late-night message was rewarded with either a free mattress or a discount, turning a simple interaction into a moment of surprise and delight.

We love how this campaign nails the timing and connects directly with its audience. By reaching out late at night, IKEA comes across as more of a friend checking in than a company trying to sell stuff. It's smart and feels genuine.
